Little sister let big brother take the fall...

The song "The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia."  Not a song I'm proud to really enjoy, but enjoy it I do.  If you really listen to the lyrics...it's about a guy with a cheating wife, a dishonest best friend and a murderous sister.  And the guy pays the price for all of it.  Meanwhile crazy sis sits by and lets him hang for her crimes, one of which remains unsolved.  They should make a movie out of this.  It could be told from little sister's perspective, maybe she's telling her latest victim about how she got away with killing two people and setting up another and now she's free to kill at will.

I can see Charlize Theron as the lead.  Or maybe Holly Hunter, in a breakout role, much like Robin Williams in Insomnia.  Something you'd never expect from her.

So let's see, you'd need her brother, his best friend, the cheating wife, her lover, the sheriff, and the judge as main roles, with assorted townsfolk and jurors and such.

I might need to keep working on this....

Ok, so I've tried this blog thing a few times, but it never really caught on.  I'm going to give it another go and see if I can't make something of it.  I've been tossing ideas around in my head about what exactly I want to blog about, but I figure I can at least use the space for that fleshing out at this point.

I'm thinking about an entertainment blog, though those are rampant on the web these days.

I'm thinking of a blog about being a first time dad at close to 40 years old.  Something that will give the other dads out there something to look forward to.  Anyway, the plan is to write every day, at lease a paragraph or two.

If I come up with any great ideas, I'll copyright them.  Until then, consider this the blog where I rant and rave a bit, and maybe have a couple of moments of clarity.
